The Process

Our Ethos

We are not a ‘sell it quick and leave you to it’ company. We believe that water hygiene is so important that it deserves the time to ensure we get things right. This means that we will be with you throughout the process to ensure the system is set up right.

The first step in the process is assessing the current situation. If you request help with water cleanliness, we will send one of our vets or technicians out to test your water as an initial step. We have on farm water testing kits that will give an estimate of pathogen load in water sources; both onto the farm and feeding troughs, drinkers or wash lines.

From here, we can select a number of targeted sites to further assess the water hygiene using our in-house lab to assess cleanliness. We will then talk you through the results, and whether a FarmWater system is suitable.

Installation

Our clients have a range of different farm set-ups, and our team have in-depth knowledge of how the system can be best applied. Farm water infrastructure is often not straightforward, so our engineer will plan the most suitable place for generation and delivery of the Chlorine Dioxide.

We will work with you and your team, including your vet and farm advisor, to understand your water supply and how it impacts on your herd or flock health, to design and build a solution that is specific to your needs.

Following installation, we will visit regularly in the first few months to ensure the system is functioning well. We often find we need higher levels of chemical initially to clean biofilm and other build-up from within the pipes, before trying to set the ongoing level of use. We will supply the precursors to ensure you get the best results from your Chlorine Dioxide system.
